TRAINING OF ETP STAFF (FISH COLLABORATOR AND FISH GUARD VOLUNTEERS) |

The Life+ RARITY project about the control and containment of the so-called "killer crayfish" (the Louisiana red swamp crayfish Procambarus clarkii ), and the protection and stock enhancement of the native crayfish populations in the region Friuli Venezia Giulia, has recently started. The project, co-financed by the EC, has a total budget totalling € 2.674.744, and envisages - among many planned activities - a wide selection of training courses to train fish collaborator and fish guard volunteers of the Ente Tutela Pesca (lead partner of the project). The first of these courses will be held at the Aquarium of Ariis during the second week of November 2011. |
